As the leaves turn and the nights grow cozy, one of Ontario’s most enchanting fall events is back — Pumpkinferno at Discovery Harbour!
Running from October 1 to November 1, 2025, this month-long celebration of art, light, and Halloween spirit is a must-see for anyone living around Barrie, Innisfil, or the Lake Simcoe area.
🌟 What Is Pumpkinferno?
Pumpkinferno transforms the historic grounds of Discovery Harbour in Penetanguishene into a glowing wonderland of over 5,000 hand-carved pumpkins(actually “fun-kins” — crafted to last!). Each display tells its own story, from spooky pirate ships to whimsical autumn scenes.
As you stroll through the illuminated pathways, you’ll also enjoy live performances, fire shows, and plenty of eerie surprises that make the experience truly unforgettable.
